Instant Article Factory, Fast Article Writing

As everyone knows, “content is king” on the Internet. As a copywriter and editor at ProductReporter, I am interested in and looking at tools on a regular basis to help with writing. A new product has just launched by Jon Ledger called “Instant Article Factory”.  What it does is provide templates for writing articles. The promotional message is that you can write one article in five minutes or less. I’m still evaluating it but the concept is interesting. Basically, it provides templates (with new ones updated regularly) for quickly writing articles. Instant Article Factory also “spins” articles making different articles out of one. The concept of spinning is not a new one.

Some questions I’m researching on this are:

1. Are the articles unique enough so that they pass the non-duplicate content test? One way of telling is to run them through copyscape.com which checks articles against other articles on the Internet. (My partner just checked copyscape for the first one I wrote and it was 80% unique. I am told that if an article is 30% unique Google will accept it. I suggest you test this to be sure.
2. Is it really a time saver considering the time to research an article isn’t reduced?

One thought I have to make the product better is to include a research tool like instantarticlewizard or a component included in Market Samurai. Basically both of these quickly pull articles in off the Internet to help you write other articles.
